We pretty much buy everything on Amazon now and enjoy free shipping with our Prime membership. However, there are certain things, including subscriptions, that are no longer available for purchase on amazon.com.
If you are looking for the best deal to sign up for a WSJ subscription you won’t find it on Amazon anymore. Here’s today’s best WSJ subscription offer plus why Amazon no longer sells the Wall Street Journal.
Can You Buy a WSJ Subscription on Amazon?
The Wall Street Journal is a top name in financial news and Amazon is, of course, the most popular place to buy everything at unrivaled prices. So, you would think that Amazon would have a great deal on Wall Street Journal subscriptions, right?
That’s actually not the case, as Amazon no longer sells WSJ subscriptions.
In fact, when you search Amazon for a Wall Street Journal subscription you’ll see this “currently unavailable” message:
Why Amazon.com Does Not Sell Discounted WSJ Subscriptions:
I believe the reason why Amazon no longer sells WSJ subscriptions is due to political differences. The notoriously conservative Wall Street Journal is owned by Rupert Murdoch’s News Corp. and the publication is a direct rival to the progressive Washington Post which is owned by Amazon founder Jeff Bezos’.
So basically, Jeff Bezos doesn’t agree with the conservative slant of the WSJ, so he doesn’t sell it on Amazon!
So, even though Amazon no longer offers discounted WSJ subscriptions, the good news is that our affiliate offer is even better!
